What Annoys You?

No Lupus Monday...I don't feel like talking about lupus today. So, what should we talk about? (We would be me and my imaginary friends out there in cyberspace.) How about things that annoy us...okay...things that annoy me. Yep, that's what I want to talk about.

  • Being in a grad school group with slackers who never do their work on time (no, Bob - yes, that is what I decided to call you (for today anyway) - no you don't get a vote cause it makes me laugh- I am not talking about you...Mary, you don't count cause you aren't in my class! You can slack all you want!)

  • Parents who pick up their kids wearing things like slips and house shoes...the fuzzy kind (the house shoes, not the slips)

  • Hives...they would annoy you too if you got them as often as I do

  • When DQ eats her mini blinds...yes, she really does that, no, I don't know why

  • My phone ringing as I walk in the door

  • Messy classrooms, lazy teachers

  • Snotty, soccer (baseball) moms who dress in heels to watch a farm league game

  • The bathroom mirror at work that makes me look MUCH older than I am

  • Running out of chocolate

Okay, think I'm done with that.

So I broke the promise I made to myself and bought DQ new mini blinds Saturday...for the third time in the last year...cause I couldn't take the teeth marks and missing slats anymore. I decided to put a sheer curtain in front of them (hopefully she won't eat it) and then get curtains to tie back...great plan...except I let DQ pick them out. You need to know that I let DQ pick the paint color for her walls the last time we painted...she picked Cherry Soda Pink...think fuchsia. She found curtains that are the exact same color...how lucky (not!) was that? They are made of some weird fuzzy material...she loves them. The sheer curtain is...are you ready??? Teal blue with sparkles...really. She thinks she has a princess room now...she loves it. I suppose that's really all that matters. I just keep the door closed.

Hey, I resemble that slacker remark, but thanks for the release to continue fulfilling my role. Still just one paper behind and I posted my group stuff on time. Wish I was in your group, now, eh?

Who Am I?

Me
Gender: Female

About Me
I'm a wife, a mom, an educator and a normal (okay, relative term here) person who makes frequent mistakes. I have a lot to say, hence the blog. My kids were adopted as babies (one through an agency and one through the foster care system). I love to talk about adoption. My daughter has sensory issues as well as ADHD. I like to vent about parenting. I am occasionally rosy, usually blunt and sometimes I am simply downright rude. Don't read if it offends you. I may sometimes write about my school experiences so let me cover my bases. I don't live in your town, I don't work at your school, I am not talking about your child, you don't know me. If you think you've figured out who I am...ask me, I will lie and say you don't know me. email me at chocolatecoffeesleep@hotmail.com
