Hmmm...what to write about in my very first blog post. Why am I writing in the first place? I am addicted to blogs. I love reading about the insanity of other people's lives. (Yes, I am also a reality TV addict.) So I suppose I thought I would throw my own insanity out there on the table for all to see. Why not? I am anonymous. (Yeah, I know, you are never really anonymous on the internet.) So, how about a little background to start with. I am a wife to Mr. Coach. He's a great guy most of the time and I am one of the lucky ones to still be glad I am married after all these years. I have three kids. The Grown One is just that...grown and on his own. He's a great kid and we don't see him often enough. Then I have the drama queen...I'll just call her DQ for short. She is a preteen and heaven help us all when puberty hits. DQ has enough energy for the entire family and it is rarely if ever contained. You can follow her trail through the house and know exactly where she's been and what she's been doing. Finally, we have Flapjack. Yes, that is actually what we call him (but obviously not his real name, we're not that creative). Flapjack is a calm, kind, obediant kid and he balances his sister out very well. If we had been blessed with Flapjack first I would have mistakenly thought we should have ten more. Thanks, God, for not allowing that to happen!

I work for our local school system. I get to move around and visit in classrooms and work with kids who have trouble behaving. I love/hate my job. Some days are great and other days I feel like a chew toy for kindergarteners. More to come on that in future posts.
